This year we published two books. While that's fewer than we normally publish in a year, both books broke new ground for us, and so we diverted more logistics and effort into their success. That effort has paid off in spades.
Of particular note is Shadows And Teeth, which marked our first foray into two important fields: horror and anthologies. It has quickly become one of our most popular titles. Critically acclaimed, it has won or been nominated for three major awards, and has helped launch the writing careers of two promising high-school students, now college freshmen.
This year, our books took home the following accolades:
-- International Book Awards, Finalist
-- FAPA President's Award, Silver
-- Royal Palm Literary Award, 2nd Place
We're always looking for new ways to put books in the hands of readers in their preferred formats. Last year, we rolled out audiobooks, and they've meet with great success. This year, our labs have been working double-time, and we're proud to announce that next year we will be offering some of our bestsellers in handsome hardbound collector's editions. These beautiful editions will bring new meaning to the word "artisanal."
This year, we published works by eleven authors, ten of whom who had never published with us before. They are:
-- Trevor Boelter
-- Mia Bravo
-- Viktoria Faust
-- Brittany Gonzalez
-- Mark Meier
-- Rich Phelan
-- Paige Reiring
-- Cav K. Sweeny
-- J.S. Watts
-- Darren Worrow
