This was a big year for us. In May, we broke new ground by venturing into audiobooks. We've published twelve this year - five full-length books, seven short stories. They've been tremendous successes, with grand total sales in the hundreds since the middle of this year. All of our titles are narrated by top notch talent. Of note: "Miami is Missing," narrated by Latin Grammy winner Vicente Solis.
In June we partnered with Ingram, a major book distributor. In Ingram's own words: "Water covers 70% of the world. IngramSpark covers the rest." We're pleased to have Ingram join our network of over a dozen distribution channels.
In August, we resumed accepting author queries. We've received a hailstorm of excellent material, and our editors are steadily working through the submissions.
In November, we partnered with Msgr. Pace High School in organizing a writing contest. We plan to make the ten best and brightest student writers into published authors before they head for college.
This was a big year for awards as well. Our fantasy/comedy, "The Gullwing Odyssey," took first place at the Pacific Book Awards (May 27). "Lilith," a short story from the Prometheus Saga, won the first place Royal Palm Literary Award (October 17).
Next year promises to be exciting. We plan to release at least two or three new titles in 2016. That's ambitious for a small press like us, but we've got the people, the plan, and the punch to get it done.
Great things await. Stick around.
