In case you haven't been following our blog, the inaugural volume of Shadows And Teeth has earned high praise and critical acclaim despite only having been published a little under four months ago (April 30th, 2016). What makes the series unique is that readers get to see what cultures all over the world consider frightening. The runaway success of our horror anthology is why, we think, so many great writers want to participate on the sequel. Indeed, we've been getting submissions from so many talented horror writers, that we can barely keep up. But this is a good thing, as it allows us to pick from the cream of the crop to ensure you get the very best in horror. We love it too, because we get to read a lot of great stories!
Volume two is shaping up to be a real doozy of a horror anthology. As before, the book will present a cast of international authors. It'll have everything its predecessor had, and then some: more scares, more horror, more suspense, more of the stuff that keeps you up at night.
But be forewarned, this isn't for the faint of heart. Shadows And Teeth has been known to cause anxiety, jitters, and sleeplessness. If you're up to the challenge, we recommend you bring a night light and plenty of batteries.
What's more, this isn't a shotgun approach to horror: we don't believe in packing the book cover-to-cover with a bunch of bite-sized horror morsels. You'll get ten hand-picked novella-length stories, each giving you something substantial to slake your horror appetite.
Keep your eyes peeled for volume two of Shadows And Teeth in early 2017. Until then, take care as you reach into these dark places, for the things here bite, and you may withdraw a hand short of a few fingers.
