Jill Hand writes time-travel adventures based on bizarre true stories. Her novels, Rosina and the Travel Agency, and The Blue Horse follow the adventures of a young woman rescued from a railway accident in 1889 by a mysterious twenty-fourth-century enterprise known as the “Travel Agency,” which is in the business of time-travel tourism.
Her work has appeared in eight anthologies so far. She writes science fiction, fantasy and speculative fiction and is on her way to becoming a cyborg, having artificial lenses in both eyes and a spine made up mostly of titanium.
